【Overview】
- The main theme of this exhibition is the collection of the dresses that made significant changes in fashion history. The dresses of 50 designers from all over the world gathered including a few Japanese designers.
- Izukura’s Karakumi dress, braided dress, was very outstanding one in the exhibition. Karakumi dress is braided according to the designed form, not cutting fabrics. It is also the unique product not having any waste.
- The display of Karakumi dress was very unique in this exhibition. The dress was on a torso with the flat white Karakumi cloth hanging on the wall behind.
